2026 Water Rate & Fee Schedule
Effective February 6, 2026
Rates were adopted by the Valley of Enchantment Mutual Water Company Board of Directors and implemented following the Proposition 218 public hearing held January 19, 2026.
Monthly Fixed Charges
(Billed monthly regardless of water usage)

Tier 1 — 0 to 600 cubic feet: $15.75 per 100 cf
Tier 2 — 601 to 1200 cubic feet: $18.00 per 100 cf
Tier 3 — 1201+ cubic feet: $20.00 per 100 cf
Commercial & Construction Water Rates
(Billed per 100 cubic feet)
Commercial Consumption: $11.00 per 100 cf
Construction Consumption: $17.00 per 100 cf
Connection Fees & Stock
5/8" x 3/4" Meter Connection: $7,000.00
1" Meter Connection: $7,500.00
1.5" or 2" Meter Connection: $7,700.00
Will Serve Letter: $225.00
Fire Flow Letter: $325.00
New Share of Stock: $525.00
Share Transfer Fee: $110.00

Construction Meter Deposit: $2,200.00
Mastermetered Accounts
Certain developments such as mobile home parks or other mastermetered properties may be served through a master meter where individual unit usage cannot be measured separately.
These accounts are billed based on the total measured consumption through the master meter along with applicable system fees.
Billing Structure:
Water Consumption = Total cubic feet used × $0.1575 per cubic foot
(Tier 1 equivalent rate)
